1st Showing of Reno Brothers Film Success

An enthusiastic crowd attended the preview showing of the first part of my film last night at the Scott County Historical Society (which was also the location of the Marshfield Train Robbery). My deadline was getting very near when I decided to cut the narration and have the story told in first person by John Reno who survived the majority of his family and wrote an autobiography.
About three weeks ago, I called a good friend Harold Moore, who had originally done the voice
of John to come back in and record more. Needless to say, I had to restructure the entire film
in three weeks. I felt that it was worth it that it had a more interesting impact on the story.
Part 1 "They Grew in Stature" covers the Reno family from the early 1800's to the midst of
the civil war a couple of years before the train robbery.
I will show the second part at the society and other locations in April and hope to release the film on DVD at the end of may/beginning of June.
